Ten Things of Thankful about Taking a Walk

Taking a walk early in the morning every day ________

  • improves blood circulation, which seems to be one of the most important factors in Oriental medicine.
  • helps me to get a sound sleep at night.
  • gives me poetic inspiration.
  • makes me less irritable when I face stressful situations later in the day.
  • makes me feel happier.
  • enables me to discover something new about familiar places.
  • encourages me to explore parts of the city I have never been to.
  • makes me more mindful of my surroundings, for example, reminding me that trees, flowers, leaves are growing every day.
  • gives me a sense of accomplishment.
  • is the least expensive sport.

Some of the photos I've taken this week:

Ten Things of Thankful

  1. Beautiful! Yes, walking as an exercise gives us many benefits to be thankful for.

  2. I enjoy walking, too. Some of the flowers you see on your walks are the same kinds of flowers that are blooming here, too.

  3. Very cool approach to this week's TToT!
(I enjoyed the dynamic effect of the 'fill in the blank'. Give us (the Readers) a sense of motion and the photos... for the visual prompts)
    Have a good week ahead.

  4. Beautiful posting and pictures. This group does not fail to inspire me. I will still walk today, short walk though. It is lightly sprinkling outside.

  5. Walking is daily for me as well. It is a much underrated activity. #6 and #8 - I love that about my walks too :)

  6. I love this approach to your Ten Things of Thankful post!
Is that the ocean off in the distance in your first photo?
We had some rain off and on here this past week too.

  7. Walking has always been my favorite form of exercise. Nice list!

Thank you for your visit.
